For time of year very mild with fair amount of sun.
Morning taken up with weekly shop then an afternoon sweeping up oak leaves. Last tree to shed leaves and still many more to fall yet.
Trail cams are still showing two hedgehogs out each night and still eating loads of mealworms. Going to be late hibernating this year I can see.
Checking the alpine house I was somewhat pleased to see a fair few plants showing signs of life. These will be the Spring flowering plants. Good news.
Tonight attended the annual Whitley Community Centre meeting. This being my first time of attending I was anxious to just observe and listen before committing to anything. Was somewhat surprised at the professional approach and the legal knowledge they showed.
Have agreed to meet the centre manager in the New Year to ascertain whether I can offer any help in the future of the centre.
Certainly some interesting projects in he plan like the opening of the Whitley Museum.
