A wet morning but the most beautiful afternoon and evening.
Not much doing today, did give the Trap Door another coat of paint. Carpet Man called to clarify what was required to replace the damaged stair carpet. Being replaced next Thursday.
Called at B & Q for some Deck Post Rope and Black Satin Paint for the Picture Frames I made back in the early Spring. Racks and Racks of Rope but had run out of 18mm! Went home and ordered on line, and it was cheaper.

A very wet day, all day!
Gave the Trap Door another coat of paint and rubbed down the damaged paintwork to the Stairs.
Rest of the day spent looking out on a very soggy garden.

A very wet day, confined to indoors for the day.
Insurance money confirmed for the Roof Hatch so did start making a replacement. Once tghis is finished I will then contact the Carpet Fitter. Will cover damage to the wall with pictures!

A beautiful Sunny day spent making a Pergola outside the Useful Room.
Enjoyed an early morning walk between Fobney and Southcote. Not alone these mornings now as in the Fishing Season.
Although still not open to walkers the Lakes that have been generated at Fobney appear to be a success already with Lapwing, Black Headed Gull and a Common Tern spotted this morning. So far away from the Towpath hence photographs not that clear.
Also a good day for Wildlife in the Garden. Most astonishing was the Sparrowhawk that flew down on the timber I was working on. So lucky to get picture as stayed only a few moments.
Not seen very often was a two spotted Ladybird, this one being Black with Orange Spots. Also had the pleasure of seeing a Scarlet Tiger Moth, landed on the lawn underneath my temporary work bench.
