Another mild Spring like day, brilliant.
             Spent morning making further Picture Frames, town tomorrow to purchase Mounts and Glass.
              Afternoon spent out in the garden. Fixed a further two Nesting Boxes and re-positioned the Sparrow Hotel.
Birds are very active, think the mild weather has confused them. Crows in fact were breaking off Silver Birch Twigs and taking them to a tree over the road.

A brilliant Spring Day, except it is Winter! Dry and mild.

Morning spent in workshop making yet more frames for some of my photographs, just need Wifelet to free up some wall space for me!

Spent the afternoon trimming the Ivy Hedge bordering the Woodland Path.

Mild Day, there is a rumour we could be in for a dry spell.
            An Internet working day, booking day's out and a holiday:
(a)  A day in Dover with Guide exploring the Secret War Tunnels.
(b)  A  Steam Train (A1 Tornado) day trip to Plymouth Pullman Style.
(c)   7 Day early Spring Holiday back to the Scilly Isles for the Spring Wildlife and Flora on Tresco and St.Marys.
All good, just hope the weather conditions are dry for the Scilly Isles.
             Enjoyed a good evening with Lulu and Clive over a good meal prepared by Mrs.T. 
Clive tried to sort out the 18 month old printer to no avail. Seems ludicrous we have to throw away such a recent purchase. Reviewing the HP Model on line it now appears I am not the only one with the problem.

Good weather today, dry and pretty mild.
Another boring day! Christmas decorations down and stored, can't believe it took all day!
                    Good day for Goldfinches, most ever counted. 15 Ground Feeding on Sunflower Hearts, this did not include the few actually on the Feeders.

A dry, mild winters day.
Bit of a boring day, shopping and bank & estate agent visits connected with Mother.
Did manage to spend some quality moments sitting in the garden this afternoon. Daffodils, Camelia, Witch Hazel, Cowslip, White Hellibore & Red Hellibore all well advanced now despite the recent very wet weather.
                   The Female Blackbird with a part white tail again payed a visit. Last seen late Summer. Long Tailed Tits, Male & Female Blackcaps along with the usual array of birds were pretty busy this afternoon.

Tuesday 1st January 2013

No rain, blue sky, bit on the cold side. Brilliant day. Good start to 2013.
             Took a while to 'come to' this morning after last night, but hey, it was New Year!
During afternoon drove to Bracknell to see/photograph the flock of Waxwings. Beautiful sight. More Twitchers than Birds so had to fight for a good spot. Many thanks to Doug who advised me of there whereabouts.

Happy New Year - another wet day. Tomorrow looking brighter, can live in hopes.
Enjoyed an evening at The Cunning Man with Jill and Geoff, drink of the night was Reindeer. At only 3.8 I was able to manage 6 pints over the course of the night. Think Geoff managed arf a pint!!!
