Oh dear, weather has changed somewhat. Cooler, showers and little sun.
With my new car due towards the end of October I took the opportunity today to start clearing the garage so she can be garaged. Think I will have to open an eBay account so I can start selling unwanted goods from a glazed exterior door to a Wurlitzer organ.

Chilly morning & evening but very sunny and warm during the day.
Day spent on the patio, almost complete now, just the rope balustrade to install. The heavy, hard work of the last few days has now affected my back so will be taking things easy for a few days now.
Sunset at Fobney was stunning again tonight. With a seat now installed at the large lake I spend hours just sitting and watching the changing sky line.

Dry day, chilly morning but a stunning afternoon.
Morning spent on the patio, looking much better.
Enjoyed afternoon tea and cream, yummy cakes at Nigel & Lyn. Good to see Lyn looking so well after her recent operation.

A hot, sultry day. Looking forward to rain tomorrow, not!
Enjoyed a three hour stroll at Dinton Pastures ending with an all day breakfast. Mixed thoughts, an enjoyable walk, yes. However do appreciate more the extreme conditions, Autumn and early Spring.
For an hour this afternoon I photographed 16 Spiders/webs. This was just a small selection of must have been hundreds. The Ivy Hedge was covered.
With rain forecast tomorrow I could not resist another evening at Fobney to take in the incredible changes of sunset colours.
A truly enjoyable day.

Wednesday 4th September 2013
Another very warm day, in fact, hot.
Trauma time - not happy with result of the patio laid yesterday. Just could not live with it. My fault, had not realised there was a mix of square & bevel edged. My friends at Meakins pulled out all the stops and delivered a smaller paving I could handle. Delivered within an hour of ordering.
Managed to overlay 75% this afternoon before the heat caught up with me.
Sunflower competition result time, my tallest stands at 3.9mtrs. Best year ever for me, wonder if I have won this year, more tomorrow.

A very warm, sunny day. We have a start of an Indian Summer?
Builders completed the patio this evening, just requires the finishing touches now. Broken glazed panel also replaced.
Morning spent repairing/painting the Dovecote, can't believe it is still standing after all these years. Woodworm have made it their home!
An enjoyable afternoon with Celie and Leilani at the Farmyard Crazy Golf centre at Arborfield. Girls I think were more interested in the Rabbit City and feeding the Goats, Sheep and Cows!

Tuesday 20th August - Monday 2nd September 2013
Where has this month gone? Weather has been glorious with stunning sunrises & sunsets.
Computer been playing up again hence lack of blogging. During the month I have enjoyed many hours at Fobney including two 5am starts with Celie to watch the sunrise. Observatory & windows now finished, patio work commenced today by Steve & Stewart. Enjoyed visits by June (sad Cecil could not join us) and Doug, Anna and Ben. Have enjoyed many bbq's with neighb's, sitting around the fire bowl putting the world to right!
Been a brilliant month for butterflies, dragonflies, moths, crickets and damsel flies. Sunflowers also brilliant this year, in fact best ever.
Hopefully I will now be blogging each evening.
