Monday 11th March 2013
A very cold day with occasional snow showers.
As cold as it was I spent the day in the garden. Moved Wisteria that would be in the way of the Conservatory.
Probably will not like the move but had nothing to lose, worse case, I buy another one.
Also moved all the Perennials in preparation for the Rose Bed.
Good to see the Long Tailed Tits, Pied Wagtail and the Blackcap back in the garden. Surprised at seeing the Blackcap.

A cold, dry day.
Suffering after yesterdays trip. Can't believe how much you can ache from sitting all day!
Was over the moon to see a Chiff Chaff in the garden. The first time I have ever seen one. I am chaffed to bits.

What a contrast to yesterday, weather was mild, sunny and dry.
Was a long day at 12 hours on the A1 Tornado Steam Train return trip to Plymouth. Enjoyed the company of Jean & Doug who have longed to experiance such a trip, thinking it would not be possible given their age (both well into the 80's) and wonky knees. We assured them it was possible with help and we thouroughly enjoyed their company. I am amazed at Steam Dreams organising, it was 100%, a brilliant day.

A very wet day, all day.
Darcy, Leekes Surveyor arrived at 10am and spent all day measuring for the Bespoke Conservatory to include to plastered walls for my photograph gallery and provision for the camera cables for the split screen monitor.
ETA end of May. This gives me time to dismantle what I can.

Tuesday 6th March 2013
Dull, overcast but at least dry.
One of those boring days for me. Helped with the weekly shopping first thing then visits to two solicitors regarding Mothers Estate.
Picture of a fluffed up bird on the sunflower feeder. Was there twenty minutes before a fight ensued and the fluffy ball flew a short distance to a table for a rest before flying away to the Ash Tree.

Monday 5th March 2013
The most beautiful of days. Mild with plenty of sun.
Spent day dealing with urgent repairs to the Pond Bridge Steps, in fact ended up replacing the steps.
Frogs were busy in the pond, problem with spawning at this time of year is the risk of frost. Fingers crossed.
First Bumble Bee spotted, think may have been disturbed by my working as was busy by the pond.
A yellow Brimstone was also very busy flying between the gardens. Sadly no photographs.
Being a warm evening I have set the Moth Trap, a bit early in the year but taking advantage of the warmth.
