Saturday 8th Sepember 2012

Another very warm and sunny day. Day spent in London visiting some of the hidden tresures in the square mile ending the day with a trip on a Barge from Camden Lock to Little Venice on the Regents Canal.
Pictures 1 & 2 - Lomowall at the Museum of London. Picture 2 explains.
"            3 - Lord Mayors Coach, still used every November for the Lord Mayor Parade.
"            4 - Reflections through one of the many Glass Office Blocks in the City.
"            5 - Postmans Corner - a Wildlife Park dedicated to comemorating heroic deeds by means of Tiled Memorials. Postmans Corner so called because a Post Office used to occupy part of the land.
Picture        6 - Pavement Bollard - these bollards seen all over London are in fact 'unused' Cannons.
Pictures 7 & 8 - A Chinese Barge moored on the Regents Canal near Camden Lock.
"             9 - Ornate Pillars supporting one of the many bridges over the Regents Canal.
"           10 - One of the many Mansion Houses on the stretch of the Canal near London Zoo.
      "           11 - Little Venice near Paddington.
