Not a bad day. Mild, dry with sunny moments!
Planted up the three Conifer Trees, now adorning the front side entrance. Making the Front of the House more welcoming to visitors.
Also planted the Pond and Marginal Plants, that area of the garden now transformed.
The Timber for the WDP arrived this afternoon so any spare moment now will be spent on this area of the garden.

" 2 - Site of the WDP now completely cleared.

Monday 29th October 2012
A mild miserable day. Showers during afternoon/evening.
Another shop at Henry Street buying three more Conifers and Pots for the front garden. Also bought four Plants for the new Pond, bit of a result as took advantage of a buy one get one free offer.
Called in to the Home to see Mum, better in herself as Chest infection clearing but oh dear, so,so confused and relating the most obscure horrible stories. Feel I have lost my Mum now but will have to continue visiting.
Evening with Jill going through 30 pages of a form to fill in for the Solicitor dealing with the sale of the Bungalow.
Sunday 28th October 2012
Another good Autumnal Day. All day spent again on the new pond area. Decided on another wood stack + an area of large stones, rocks and a couple of sections of the Yew Tree Trunk. Garden Shreddings now covers the area so Birds will be happy scratching about for insects.
Saturday 27th October 2012
Enjoyed today, a mild, sunny dry Autumn Day.
Day spent on the landscaping of the new Pond area at the lower end of the garden. Looking good, should have it finished tomorrow. Today created a woodstack by the pond covered by Mind Your Own Business. Planted Snowdrops and other woodland bulbs.
Celebrated Neil and Sarah's impending Wedding with an evening Take a Way and a few Pints of Real Ale. Can't believe we talked until 2am!! Morning walk cancelled!

Friday 26th October 2012
What a miserable day. Wet all morning, dry but pretty dull during afternoon and wet again in the evening.
Managed to site the new Pond and fill with water. Lots of back filling now but rather muddy for that job.
Pictures 1 & 2 - Foxy, interesting these picts' as shows him sniffing about where the tunnel used to be under the Decking. when finished I will have created a man made tunnel hoping to stop all the spoil causing further rot in the future.
Rest of pictures showing the Jays again, just love them. Spent some time again today burying Peanuts, they actually free the Nut from the Husk before burying in the lawn.

After a misty start the day turned out to be mild and clear with 5 minutes of Sun!
Long day spent in London. Arriving at Blackheath Common walked to the Royal Observatory at Greenwich. From here enjoyed wonderful views of Greenwich, O2 Arena & The City all shrouded in mist. Greenwich was also the site of the Olympic Equestrian Events, now being taken down. After some time taking photographs walked down to The Queen's House, after a quick look inside stopped for lunch at the Maritime Museum. Time then to walk on through Greenwich High Street to see The Cutty Sark. Last time I saw this splendid Ship it was a burnt out wreck. Amazing work has been carried out including lifting her 3 metrs so one can walk underneath. After an hour on the Ship (not enough time) then had to dash across to the O2 Arena where we boarded a Cable Car for the flight across the Thames. With the sun out and blue sky what a way to end the day. Brilliant views. With The Pilot Inn only 5 mins walk away we ended the day with a cup of tea and biscuit!
All pictures taken on today's trip.

Wednesday 24th October 2012
A good dry mild day. No sun but at least dry.
Day spent on the WDP, all rotten timber now in a tidy heap under the Lelandi Trees. All other rubbish cleared and burnt so site almost ready for making a start. Timber being delivered next week so time to mark out the levels.
Will be incorporating a permanent opening for the Bumble Bees which are still very active. I fully understand this nest of BB will not stay about for long, the opening therefore can be used for Bees in the future.
Pictures today are of Autumn Colours in the garden and burning the rubbish.

Tuesday 23rd October 2012
Mild (almost warm), dry, dull, misty day.
Spent day on the WDP, much bigger job than first thought. Having exposed now the foundation to the original bridge I have to decide if I make this a feature or expand the decking area? I have a plan!
The heap of rotten timber I will now transfer to the wooded area for insects etc to enjoy. The Bumble Bees are still very active but appear to be happy to stay. Did think the Queen might move them on.
After only three days and four viewings a cash offer was made on the Bungalow this afternoon. This is indeed good news, although selling through an Estate Agent the interested party are the Neighbours Brother!
Not really sold of course until contracts signed.

Monday 22nd October 2012
Dull, damp, grey miserable day. When did we last see Sun?
Visit to Henry Street today to purchase some Blue Frostproof Pots and selection of small Fir Trees which will placed at the side of the house, trying to brighten up the area! Also purchased a Sack Truck as unable to carry 'stuff' like I used to.
Spent a couple of hours with Mother, she is going downhill rapidly while suffering a Chest Infection. Thank goodness we found this Care Home for her.
Received another letter today from a Home Construction Company wanting to develope the back land. Requires three properties for the scheme to succeed, not sure where I stand on this now. Will need to give it some serious consideration. I do love the garden but what about in another 10 - 15 years, would I cope with it?
Trail Camera Pictures today are a record of the Jay(s) collecting Monkey Nuts. There have been two on most days taking these Nuts and burying them in the lawn and pots, facinating.
