Saturday 6th October 2012
After a cool start the day turned out warm and sunny.
Enjoyed a dawn walk at Fobney but dissapointed at lack of Wildlife. Lakes and Canal were void of any life. Southcote Pond the same, not even a Fisherman!
Still good to be out however and did experiance the Rooks taking to the sky in there hundreds. Most I have ever seen, took a good five minutes to fly over, question - where on earth do they go?!
Also spotted a Bird of Prey asleep on a Branch but was so far away for me to confirm species, Periguine perhaps?
Enjoyed a mid-day lunch at Loch Fyne Wokingham with Nigel and Lyn discussing the very succcessful 65th Birthday Celebrations in London.
