Saturday 17th January 2015

After a hard overnight frost the day was sunny and on the chilly side. Temp' only reaching a high of 5c this afternoon.
Enjoyed an early morning walk at Fobney, in fact went out a little early. At 7am it was pretty dark, ideal however to watch the sunrise evolving.
It was a magnificent morning with the lake looking as if it was on fire.
Sadly this will be my last visit for a while as road and car park is closed until 21st February for flood prevention work. Can't believe they can just close the area without leaving a footpath access. Have a meeting on Thursday to discuss.
Rest of the day spent in the workshop framing more of my photographs. Hope I have wall space t hang them?
Parakeet appeared again today. My word, the Gulls went mad. Not sure how long he will stay in the area. Trail camera picked up a fox again last night and some interesting shots showing the competition for the monkey nuts.
Looking forward to receiving my underwater camera next week. It is a replacement as the supplier was unable to find out why the original would not work.
