Very cold day, first meaningful frost. Bird baths well iced up.
This morning swept up more leaves, probably 50% now.
The afternoon spent clearing the alpine border ready for the Spring. Will re-gravel tomorrow then job done.
Good to see the blackbirds, starlings, wren, chaffinches, goldfinches returning to the feeders. Robins, blue tits, great tits and sparrows never really left during the summer. Best get some more food in now.
