I visited the stand yesterday so am fully ipdated.
Arrived home at mid day to much improved weather conditions. Really enjoyed my time at the Birdfair but with some reservations. For instance in the seven years I have been visiting it has been the same speakers with almost recorded speeches, could predict what the next word would be. With the exception of the swift lecture of course, this was their first lecture at the Birdfair. Was standing room only and the stand was as busy all day. Good to see more people now understanding how special these birds are and prepared to help the cause by purchasing swift boxes and the swift call gizmo.
Wifelet had done a good job feeding the garden wildlife particularly all the mice and hedgehog families!
Arrived home to spot a gatekeeper loving the herb border in full sun so within minutes of arriving home I had already taken a few photographs.
