Another good until this evening. A wet night spoiling it for moths or bats again. Probably are about but I'm not!
A day in the garden, all recent cuttings now cosy in the greenhouse. Will require a covering of fleece once we start experiencing frost.
Started cutting the sunflower stems into 150mm lengths ready for next Spring when they will be used for bug boxes.
Cleaned out nesting boxes that required a ladder. Ground level boxes I will deal with tomorrow.
Cleaned out the squirrel drey box. My word, how on earth did it cram all those twigs in so tight. Will be interesting to see if they return. Not been cleaned in three years so thought best it was emptied.
Usual animals out last night. Think this fox cub will stay, not seen the other four for some time now.
