Blimey, that was a surprise. A lot more snow than I expected. More in fact than two weeks ago. Very cold today, stopped snowing mid morning. Was up at 6am taking photographs front and rear of the house.
Enjoyed sitting in the observatory majority of the day admiring bird world as they descended on the garden.
Pairs of jays, woodpeckers, magpies, robins, pied wagtails, chaffinches, blackbirds and doves. Male sparrowhawk appeared on numerous occasions during the day.
Enjoyed today but wish the Spring to make a rapid return.
