Cold and sunny day with temperature reaching 5c this afternoon.
Guess what? Bought some shoes today from an out of town retailer in a 60% off sale at only £12.99. Well pleased!
Amazed at how the snowdrops are forming already. The problem I have is that they are not coming out en mass, just a few groups here and there. With mass planting over the years I was expecting a good show.
Female great spotted woodpecker in the garden today as were magpies, goldfinches, blue tits, great tits, chaffinches, dunnocks, starlings, robins, blackbirds, doves and pigeons.
Just the one fox out last night.
