Sunday 8th July 2012
Mixed weather, warm, showery, windy, blue sky/grey sky. At least dry for most of the day.
Fixed replacement Trap Door this morning, just the re-paint of damaged area's now.
Installed electrics for the Water Feature, all works fine, just the Rope now to complete the project.
Cut back Ivy, Holly etc at the BBQ area at lower end of the garden.
Lorna enjoyed an afternoon watching Tennis, poor Andy! By all accounts played a good game.
Picture 1 - Not a good picture but enough detail to see a Healthy Fox.
" 2 - Again not a good picture but can see the Hedgehog entering the Hotel.
" 3 - Young Jay feeding from the Peanut Feeder just outside the back door.
" 4 - Young Jay waiting in the Silver Birch Tree for me to top up the Monkey Nut Feeder.
" 5 - Crow in a tree in Corrine Close as seen from my back door, very strange goings on not captured by the photograph. Appeared to be eating something but was unable to see what. Flew between this Tree and the Ash Tree for most of the day. See if returns tomorrow.
Picture 6 - Young Goldfinch, bit surprised as only appears to be the one.
" 7 - Pigeon showing off to it's mate!
" 8 & 9 - Filling up Water Feature and Pump in action.
" 10 - View from the BBQ, a rare moment to see a blue sky this Summer!
" 11 - Thistle + Insect, difficult to picture as stands at 2.4 mtrs.
" 12 - Mrs.T enjoying Wimbledon!!
