Wall to wall sun, brilliant day. Good start to the holiday, keep it up weather.
After a comfort stop in Banbury we arrived at the Wedgwood factory in Stoke at lunchtime.
I was not aware the images on the famous Wedgwood Blue was still hand painted. Can understand now why this product is so expensive. A very interesting museum on the companies history, brilliant that all the original patterns, lathes, colouring etc were saved giving 300 years of history.
Arrived at the Hotel (home for four days) late afternoon. This De-Vere Hotel is situated on a golf course so all very neat & tidy. Some good matured lakes in the grounds teaming with wildlife. Going to enjoy this.
