Tuesday 8th April 2014
That's better weather. Dry, plenty of sun but still a chill in the air. Temp' reached a high of 16c this afternoon.
Day spent in garden and helping Girls with their veg' patch. After fixing the base in place Celie and Leilani dug over removing any weeds before planting commenced. Planted Potatoes, Runners, Peas, Carrots, Broccoli, Cauliflower and Sunflowers. Good to see the Girls taking an interest in gardening. It was a pleasure working with them in creating this veg' patch.
During the afternoon I at last sorted out the path at the side of the house. Been on my 'to do' list for months. End result, good.
Starlings less busy in their box but still taking out material as fast as material goes in. The Blue Tit again spent all night in the nest but had left by 7.30am. Returned this afternoon at 5pm and is now settled again for the evening.
