Monday 10th November 2014

After early morning mist had cleared the day turned out very mild and sunny.
Tan and Pete picked us up at 10am to treat us to a day in the Calderdale area of Yorkshire. First stop for coffee and look around the art gallery at Dean Clough in Halifax. Dean Clough being converted carpet mills. To be honest I was more interested in the building than the art gallery.
Next stop bring a lunch stop at the canal basin at Sowerby Bridge. Being a clear sunny day it was perfect conditions for reflections. In fact the best reflection photographs I have captured. This is an area I will certainly return to.
Once refreshed after a good pint of Landlord we moved on to the media and photography museum in Bradford driving over the Pennines close to Saddleworth Moor before reaching the museum.
Late in the day and not much time to browse we opted to stop for coffee only. Will visit again another time.
Arrived back in Cookridge at 5.30pm after a most interesting day out. Thanks to Tan and Pete.
