Tuesday 16th December 2014

Cold, crispy, sunny day. Heavy rain early hours of morning.
Arrived home at 1am this morning after experiencing an amazing concert at the Royal Albert Hall. Concert of Christmas Classics by the London Concert Orchestra, Coldstream Guards, Royal Choral Society, Elizabeth Atherton with Readings by Hugh Bonneville. Job to describe such an atmosphere, awesome perhaps?
All that matters is that we arrived with three minutes to spare for the concert. The trip to London was horrendous taking nearly four hours. M3 eastbound was closed so had to head back towards M4 but by now Bracknell was at a standstill. A car side crashed into an artic' lorry close to the twin bridges. Emergency vehicles had a terrible job in getting through the traffic. Just hope injuries were not serious.
Picture 1 - Ambulance stuck in traffic on A329.
     "      2 - Concert in full swing.
     "      3 - Singing by candlelight.
