Sunday 12th April 2015

After a frosty and misty start to the day the sun appeared giving us a high of 20c this afternoon.
Enjoyed a dawn walk at Fobney, so dramatic with a stunning sunrise. Just love morning like this. Makes it worth getting up.
another visit to Henry Street this morning for fish and hedgehog food and a marginal plant for the pond.
Just chilled this afternoon enjoying the relaxation in the afternoon sun. Did prepare the area where the sunflowers will be planted this year.
So funny to read that the ship we were on for our recent holiday has been impounded in Lisbon. Disappointed we are not leaving today for the narrow boat holiday we had booked with Nick & Yvonne. Had to cancel due to the pneumonia which is holding me back somewhat.
Picture 1 & 2 - Fobney this morning.
Picture 3 - Peacock on the slate path.
Picture 4 - Pond marigold.
Picture 5 - Bee - would appreciate help on this Boyo? Not a good photograph, sadly. Was as large as a Bumble but black with no markings.
Picture 6 - MV Azores.
