Sunday 19th April 2015

Warm and sunny day again with the temp' dipping due to a breeze at times.
Warmest time of the day was actually first thing while I was enjoying a walk once again at Fobney. What a morning for activity. Cormorants resting on a pylon, Swans pairing up, Heron and a Swan having a hissy fit and the delight of seeing a Mandarin. Magic morning.
A fantastic aft/eve of a performance by the RSPB. No not birds but The Reading Scottish Pipe Band. Really was an amazing show with Isla St Clair and Irish dancers also performing. So under rated this show, just not advertised enough. One of the highlights this afternoon was the RSPB tribute to the 6 Nations, Rugby anthems from the six nations. Can you imagine what that must have sounded like.
What a performance.
