Tuesday 13th October 2015

If yesterday's weather was good nit sure how to describe today's. Warm and very sunny all day. A little mist early morning.
This morning enjoyed a walk in Carrbridge. Carrbridge is famous for the pack horse bridge and the more wild area where you are likely yo see golden eagles. Not today however. After a short coffee break it was an hours drive to the Findhorne Valley where we met John from the BWWC who was our guide for the afternoon looking mostly for eagles and deer rutting. Deer rutting yes but sadly no sign of eagles. Did see however Perigrin, Cross Bills, Redwing, Kestrels, Buzzards, Mistle Thrush, Ravens and Hares.
It was a stunningly beautiful and interesting walk in the most amazing part of Scotland.
Arrived back at the hotel late afternoon in time for the evening discussion on what wildlife we saw today and to register.
Tomorrow have booked a trip on an RIB hopefully successful in seeing Dolphins and all manner of migratory birds and ducks. A white knuckle ride I think?
