Friday 9th November 2018

Mild but mostly overcast with rain tonight.
Another day of shredding leaves. Snowdrop border now covered in the shredded leaves.
Managed to carry out more pruning, some serious pruning required on the Willow Tree. A job for next week when the weather improves.
Good to see a female great spotted woodpecker on the peanut feeder this morning. Loving the fresh peanuts. Perhaps the Jays will appear now?
Not photographed but a red admiral was in the garden today, surprised as not very sunny.
Decided to clear leaves from the pond this afternoon but put more back than I removed. Leaves so rich with insects including tiny larvae.
