Saturday 12th July 2014

A very, very warm day.
Morning spent fixing steps to the Hide as unsafe using a box. Steps adapted from an old pair of wooden steps.
Leaf Cutter Bees very busy cutting leaves from the Wisteria and Robinia Trees. Good to see as not much action last year.
Sparrowhawk made a strike this afternoon on a Blackbird. Shame, but that is nature.
To finish the day it was only right I should light a bbq. A good glass of wine, salad, baked potatoes and marmite sausages. What a way to end the day...?
Pictures 1 & 2 - Leaf Cutter Bees in action.

       "       4 - 6 - Moths from last night.
