A very warm and mainly sunny day. Changed completely by late afternoon however. Heavens opened and as at 9.20pm it is still raining. 
Colin, Janet and family called this morning for coffee and a look around the garden. Weather held out so everyone happy. 
Cut out the old and dead Raspberry Canes, just the new growth to tie in now. 
Surprise of the day. With the weather now rather damp late afternoon I chose to enjoy my cuppa in the Observatory and wow - a pair of very young Rats appeared on the monitor having made themselves cosy in the Mouse House. Entering at the back end of the trunk hidden in the log pile. Just hope Foxy or the local cats can help me out here.
Good to see though even if they are Rats.
