Tuesday 12th August 2014

Another warm and sunny day until that is 6.30pm. Then we experienced another thunder storm lasting 30mins leaving us with a very pleasant evening.
Lawns and edges cut today so garden looking very tidy again with still a fair amount of colour about. Hanging baskets are going over now however.
Cleaned out the Swift box so all ready now for next April. May block the entrance until then to stop other birds potentially roosting/nesting.
Looking forward now to the Birdfair later this week. Hopefully will be purchasing an additional camera to my set-up to monitor activity in the pond. All depends on cost?
