Morning spent getting ready for my two days at the Birdfair at Egleton, Rutland Water.
Left at 3.30pm for my lodgings at Corby. Driving conditions brilliant until I reached the Oxfordshire/Northamptonshire borders. Not seen rain like it for years. Roads became rivers in no time. A 2.5hr trip had taken me 4hrs before I reached Corby.
Once out of Northampton the weather was fine so fingers crossed the show site is not a field of mud.
Roll on the morning.
