A really warm day, in fact hot most of the time.
Enjoyed a three hour bird walk with an RSPB leader at the Fobney Reserve today.
Although a bird walk you could not but help noticing the large number of butterflies and blue damselflies. Great to see so many swifts swooping for water over the large lake.
I was a little confused between a sedge warbler and a white throat. Was in fact sedge warblers I was watching on the bulrushes, great to see.
The afternoon spent soaking up the warm atmosphere in the garden, loved once again all the pond life about at the moment.
