Friday 8th July 2016
Another warm and sunny day, a little more breeze today as of late.
Really missing the sounds of birds, until you experience deafness you don't always appreciate how important hearing is in your quality of life. Plenty of people worse off I know but that does not take away the fact I am pretty distressed at not being able to hear. Waiting now for another hospital appointment to be reassessed.
Less of the moaning, now for something really exciting.
Checking the trail camera tonight a hedgehog was spotted close to the observatory. Great news, last one seen alive three years ago. Just hope foxy leaves well alone.
Thankfully I had a spare hog hotel (Christmas pressy 2015) which is now connected and in place close to where hog was spotted this morning.
Although connected, the system is not live as still pondering how to professionally install my system. Handykam have made suggestions, down to me now to make a decision.
