Sunday 10th July 2016

What a mixed bag of weather. Sun, showers, dark sky, light sky, blue sky, breezy and very warm.
Despite the showers the Fobney Reserve Dragonfly and Butterfly walk this morning was a success. Six of us enjoyed the walk with most not ever seen a damselfly before which was a hit as there were loads flying about. A few butterflies, seeing the skipper was the highlight of my morning.
This afternoon it was all about pottering. A bit of pruning, re-tied a few shrubs, watered plants in the alpine house and rested over a pint of Old Speckled Hen. A good day.
Swifts flying overhead as I type so still about. None seen at Fobney this morning.
Brilliant to see the hedgehog back out last night, have found the entry point into the garden so have a trail camera focused on that area tonight.
Picture 1 - Hog and cat.
      "     2 - Foxy.
"     3 - This moth flew out from the ivy hedge.
"     4 - No comment, cost me £1.70p that hat.
