Plenty going on today on board ship. Started with a presentation on the impending visit to Iceland and the various trips organised. Have already booked a day trip off roading to the volcanic/mountainous region in a 4x4 with an evening trip to the best spot to experience the Northern Lights.
Enjoyed a talk by David Roper with stories of his time acting in East Enders. Had never heard of him but fell I know him well now! A great speaker. Then there was a talk by Roger Pickard on the Solar and Lunar Eclipses, what and where they are.
Early evening was the Captain's Welcome Party. Very friendly and informal giving a brief history on the ship before raising a glass for an enjoyable trip on board Azores.
Showtime tonight included hits from Grease, Wizard of Oz and loads more.
Another day at sea now before reaching Iceland.
