Friday 6th May 2016

A glorious day, warm and sunny all day. Nice.
Up early to finish the fence back fill before it became too hot.
Can't believe how rock hard the clay has become over the couple of days.
All tidied up now, just the raised deck path to deal with.
Picture 1 - Bat detector all fired up and ready to go.
  " 2 & 3 - Swift call and swifts.
4 - Part of new fence.

Lawns also cut this morning along with the edges so all looking rather tidy now.
This afternoon car was booked into Halfords for the fitting of a dash cam. Like most things with me lately this did not go smoothly. A special promotion and guess what, zero stock. A decent manager however, offered the £179.99p model for same price at £99.99p.
Well pleased with the result, the only model with anti glare so ideal in these sunny conditions. Details if interested: Next Base iN-Car Cam 512G Ultra.
Tonight tried out my bat detector for the first time. Well pleased with machine registering 52.50 so pretty sure these were Pipistrelle bats.

Swifts arrived at 4.30pm, six flying together. Good news this.
