Sunday 24th November 2013

Another dull, miserable day but at least dry.
Ideal day to wash the C4, perhaps white was not the best colour to choose?
Had washed about a quarter when I was aware a care was across the drive with a couple grinning from ear to ear. What a gob smacking surprise to see Steve and Tina, our neighbours in the last century! I could not believe it. Steve and Tina left in 1996 for pastures new purchasing a free range poultry farm of 8000 chickens in Cullumpton. While talking in the drive Steve said that the best memory of his time here was the  neighbourly bbq's around the fire.....he was thrilled that this tradition was still ongoing!
Steve and Tina stayed for a couple of hours reminiscing on the early nineties and the time spent as our neighbours, the Parrot escaping, the horse rather than a lawn mower, the gun, the plastic fish, the police no entry sign, bbq evenings, fire eating and the uni-cycle......we have now agreed not to lose touch.
Finished washing the car during the afternoon!
