Thursday 7th November 2013
A beautiful day. Mild with plenty of sun and blue skies.
Day spent at Austwick, recently featured on Countryfile. Area famous for Norber Erratics, a collection of huge lumps of rock shifted millions of years ago during an ice age, spectacular.
Sadly was not able to reach the peak (cough giving me chest issues), managed 75% of the climb so still observed some spectacular scenery.
The area was also rich in fungi and birds. Tree Sparrows particularly.
Finished the walk/climb with a good pint and baguette at the Game Cock, a local pub in the village.
