Mild but an overcast day.
Not the day I had planned - early morning call from Hilary (John & Hilary) to say Christopher was pretty bad in hospital after contacting MSSA at the Circle Hospital following a hip operation. Now in the RBH as the Circle are unable to cope with emergencies. Spent nearly two hours with Christoper this afternoon, looks well but, OMG what a story and what a wound to drain out the poison. A way to go yet but hopefully now on the mend.
Morning spent sweeping more leaves from the front garden interupted by locals keen to update me on what happened in Whitley last night. Appears a Policeman was run over in a hit & run with a stolen car in Harland Road. Most of Whitley and the M4 between J11/10 were cordoned off. Not good.
