Dry but what a dismal miserable day. Very misty early morning, in fact this was the best part of the day.
Out at dawn to Fobney, very misty and lacking sun but in a strange way very atmospheric. Not much to see in the way of wildlife but the dawn chorus made up for that. Even the Swans were singing.
Spent the day cutting down the sunflowers, saving the seed for the birds and cutting the stems into 150mm lengths for use as a bug box next Spring.
