Another horrendous day, very strong wind and heavy rain all day.
Arrived home early evening after a most enjoyable four days in Carmarthen. Considering the driving conditions the driver coped very well, stopping at Swindon Steam Museum for a two hour break. Ladies chose the retail outlet and the chaps the museum. With my interest in steam trains this was just a perfect ending to a near perfect holiday. Even the weather was not a major issue as I do like anything extreme!
Having visited the museum in 1960 when trains were still being produced there it was enlightening to see the old sheds still in use today albeit a museum. Loved it.
