Wednesday 4th / Thursday 5th April 2012

Two pretty cool days. Still no rain however. Now on a Hosepipe ban so all my water butts were topped up before the ban commenced.
           Spent the two days shifting gravel, should have this task completed over the Easter Break. Have made two further bore holes in the Concrete, absolutely saturated. Keep saying to myself to 'move on', cover up and forget but another half of me is saying - where is all this water coming from?!
            Caught Heron on the Bandstand Balcony, on checking, he has taken the last of the three Fish that were left after his last visit. Just hope he has left the Spawn alone.
             Beth making good progress, still unable to move Neck but Doctors are hopeful the neck brace can be removed next week. Has taken a few steps round the bed in a wobbly fashion but never mind, Beth has taken this awful illness very much in her stride and is being very positive. Such a relief for all of us.
