Thursday 10th May 2012

After very heavy rain in the early hours the day was in fact warm and sunny. Can't believe we were so lucky.
Boots were in order for the day however as the Showground was a sea of mud off the main walkways. By mid afternoon workers had covered most of the site in Straw making life a little easier for both Stall Holders and Visitors.
Monty Don was busy with 'takes' for tomorrow's Gardeners World BBC 1. Would rate the show as one of the best we have visited over the years. Had a fantastic day, ordered an Oak Barrel and Pump Water Feature and agreed to trial a new Peat Free compost produced from household waste. For this I was given three free bags of the compost. Lorna bought some kitchen gadget bits so all in all came away very happy!

"     8 - Evening Sunset from Bedroom. A great day.
