Friday 10th July 2015

A very warm and sunny day, pretty hot actually.
Most of the day spent fitting out the new shed, virtually done. Celie used her artistic talent and drew around any item that was hung up. She did a good job, most impressed.
Trail camera has picked out a very mangey fox. Virtually no fur, can't believe it will survive long. A very healthy fox was also captured along with sightings of a hedgehog.
Leaf cutter bees very active, stripping leaves from the roses. Bees were also active on the lawn noticing some strange behaviour. A bee in a vertical position was treating another bee in a horizontal position as it was a wheelbarrow. This action went on for almost an hour.
After an absence of nearly 10 days the swifts arrived this morning. No sign of them this afternoon.
