Forecast today was dreadful but actually was pretty good with lots of Sun and temp' reaching 14c this afternoon.
Day spent laying brick path down the side of the Useful Room creating space for two 210 ltr Water Butts.
Concrete slab is now more or less cleared ready for the deck joists, just have to cement the steps before I make a start.
The bore holes I created in the concrete were all full of water this morning but the bore hole just a couple of feet from the slab (in the lawn) was still rock hard, not even moist.
It does prove now the Concrete Slab is certainly acting as a soak a way but how it is contained within the slab I guess will forever remain a mystery?
