Monday 16th October 2017

Warm at 21c most of the day. What a strange atmosphere however, yellow sky, red sun, dark sky, blue sky at times reminding me of the eclipse experience. A Hurricane is to blame stirring up sand in the sahara. I liked it actually.
Day in the garden sawing up the willow branches into logs, now on the log pile.
Have so many parasol fungi in the garden this year, why I ask. Not worried as lovely with toast and marmite.
Fox cubs and hedgehog twins busy this weekend, cubs still very playful. Not so many moths in the trap of a night now. Will continue to leave the trap connected over winter however.
Magpies have returned as did a few long tailed tits today.

Video 1 & 2 - Fox cubs and hedgehogs.
Image       1 - Tufty with an acorn, buried in the lawn.
"            2 - Foxy clearing up spilt hedgehog food.
"            3 - Hedgehog twins at their water and feeding bowl.
    "    4 & 5 - Moths from the trap.
"           6 - White butterfly on the hydrangea.
"           7 - A spider in the frame rebate of the back door. Not disturbing.
"           8 - Cutting down the willow tree.
    "           9 - October outside temperature.
    "10 & 11 - Parasol fungi.
    " 12 - 17 - Red sun today at lunchtime, taken over a period of 15 minutes.
