Tuesday 3rd October 2017

A cracking day, warm and sunny most of the day with the temp' again reaching 19c this afternoon.
Day spent in the garden, eighty wallflower plants planted. This area of the garden next to the hot lips shrub is a magnet for bees and butterflies.
A lot of activity from the trail cameras last night with the fox cub and hedgehog twins very busy.
Nothing in the moth trap other than a ladybird. Will continue to have the trap set throughout the winter however, you never know?
Just love the spiders and their intricate webs at this time of year. Some cracking specimens about the garden this year.
Some pond dipping this afternoon and was surprised how many dragonfly larva are still at the top of the pond. Looking good for next year.
