Monday 9th October 2017
Not so sunny today but mild with temp' reaching 17c this afternoon.
Today I re-potted a few outdoor alpine plants that had overgrown in the alpine border threatening other plants. Have not reduced the size of the plants but now in larger pots which will take pride of place beside the alpine house next Spring.
Patch and spike the hedgehog twins have returned, a relief. Think the fox cub was pleased to see them as waited patiently for them outside the feeding station.
Two jays today, another bit of good news. Lots more ladybirds settling on the window & door frames. Interestingly any that flew into a cobweb were not of interest to the spider. A different story if it was a fly.
