What a day - wet all day with a wintery chill.
Despite the dreadful weather,( rain finally stopped at 3.30pm) at 4pm there was the most stunning sunset. Sadly unable to post pictures as my picture usage is full. Not sure how to overcome this so a pictureless blog for a while.
Shopping day today, ALT for Timber early morning, then Morrisons for weekly food shop. Mid afternoon to B & Q for the Handrail Rope for the WDP.
I warned you about this some time ago Pump I hope. Free blogging is great, but there's always a limit to how much data you can blog and if you do add full size photos to each post (sometimes as many as ten photos per post) you'll run out of data pretty quickly.
ReplyDeleteThere's a few ways round this.
a) Dont put ten photos per blog post.
b) Resize your photos to a fraction of their size (they dont need to be huge photos for a monitor. Each full size photo will be about 5MB in memory. Resizing (through free downloadable software - just google "resize my photos") should take this down to a tenth or twenthieth of the size - allowing you to put ten or twenty times as many photos on the blog as you were doing.
c) After a certain amount of time (if you refuse to do points a) or b) above ..... delete the posts and photos. Say after 6 months or so...
d) Pay for your own website (forget the free sites) which allow a lot more data to be stored.
