Day spent at the NEC in Birmingham for the Gardeners World Live exhibition. Weather was brilliant, sunny and very warm, ideal for the outdoor exhibits.
Met Simon King and Wildlife Kate who were both manning their respective stands. Kate's stand was amazing, the only true stand explaining / showing wildlife in the best way possible inside a large building. Simon is excellent in the field presenting but trying to flog baseball caps & gloves I am afraid does not wash with me. Concentrate on field work and presenting, don't become another Bill Oddie.
On reflection, a good show. Had meaningful conversations with the Bee & Bat organisations.
