More overcast today but still very warm.
A history lesson today. This morning spent at the Jersey war hospital tunnels. Interestingly was never used as a hospital during the occupation. Even now after seeing yet another labyrinth of war tunnels I can't believe the amount of physical work involved.
This afternoon took the amphibious vehicle over to Elizabeth Castle at St.Helier. Another masterpiece of work carried out during a much earlier period.
So much history still to read and understand about this Island. I was surprised how little I knew about the more recent history, the occupation during WW2.
A very interesting day.
