Warm and sunny all day and into this evening. Back to summer weather conditions again.
A good day for butterflies and insects. Makes all the difference a bit of sun.
After a second morning not seeing dragonflies emerging I was now thinking I have peaked but no. Late this afternoon one appeared on the same pond weed as tothers. Still drying out as I type this blog.
My new toy arrived this morning, the replacement moth trap. All set tonight so fngers crossed for good results in the morning.

" 2 - Unsure of this butterfly on the ivy hedge.
" 3 - A gatekeeper butterfly on a marigold flower head.
" 4 - A southern hawker dragonfly tonight.
" 5 - Replacement moth trap all set.
" 6 - Broken moth trap, funeral tomorrow.
