Friday 15th September 2017

Warm and sunny most of the day spoilt by evening rain.
Day spent in the garden. Cut the wildflower patch and scarified for the sowing of Yellow Rattle. 400 seeds in the packet so this should show some good results late Spring next year.
Also planted out a further 40 Snakes Head Fritillary bulbs in the snowdrop area and a further 12 Cilicica bulbs in the aconite area.
Can't wait for next Spring.
A fox cub and the two hedgehogs were out on the back lawn and decking again last night. Camera showed up a pi**ed off fox cub chasing at speed a black cat. Have three video clips as went on for ten minutes.
A few moths last night but nothing I hadn't seen before.
