Thursday 7th September 2017

Warm and dry day.
A good day in the garden carrying out some Autumn clearing.  Today was time to attack the willow tree. Cut away stems I could safely cut which I then used for a willow fence I started last year.
With the weather warm it was a magnet for butterflies and bees. A migrant hawker dragonfly also emerged from the pond and flew straight to a bird feeder to dry.
Small and large white butterflies, a comma and an admiral butterfly also photographed this afternoon.
